  1. Cute Stickers

Some things in life are free…thanks to highly creative people out there who like to share their stuff.  Lotta Bruhn is an illustrator/designer from Sweden.  You can download this PDF and print it on adhesive paper.  VOILA!  You’ve got some funky stickers.

  2. I love printable coupons!

Last weekend, I took my husband for an overnight getaway for his birthday.  All the way DOWNTOWN.   Our kids are intolerable in the car and 20 minute trips are generally the limit.  This makes anything south of Lawrence somewhat unreachable but definitely longed for.  Some of you live down there…this one’s for you!  This coupon is valid June 1-30, 2009.

  3. A Shopping Event!

    trunk-show

This fabulous show featuring fashion, jewelry and art for parents and kids is taking place this Friday, May 29th at The Distillery District.  More than 50 vendors (who happen to be moms!) will present their unique stuff.  The show is kid-friendly, offering a nursing area and a play space for tots.  Entrance costs $7 at the door.

  4. Movies For Toddlers!

It’s the end of May and our weekend plans include all kinds of fun outdoorsy activities…but knowing the weather trends of our beloved city, our plans may go awry due to rain.    Thanks goodness for the recent launching of Toons for Toddlers! A whole new and wonderful concept in family entertainment.

If you have kids between the ages of 2-5, and you are looking for an indoor activity this weekend (Sunday, May 31st at 10:30am),  hit the theaters for a kid-friendly one-hour film with softer sound and brighter lights.  There are 3 Toronto locations including Rainbow Cinemas at The Promenade Mall.

Reasonably priced at $5.00 per toddler and accompanying adults are free!

  5. Amazing SALE! 50% off children’s clothing

One of my favourite children’s fashion stores is FOX.  Originally from Israel, they have recently opened 3 stores in the GTA.  The Vaughan Mills location is my personal favourite!

Their clothes are beautiful, high quality and definitely different.  So, if  like myself, you are a bit tired of the GAP, Old Navy and Children’s Place, check out Fox and enjoy an additional 50% off all items.

    Now that’s a good deal!

  6. A Gift Idea for School-Aged Kids.

It’s hard to believe but some of our friends’ kids are no longer toddlers. They are not even kids. I am not sure what to call that age group (7-11), but I do know that when I need to buy a gift for one of them, I am stumped.

I recently found out that Mabel’s Labels (one of my favourite companies!) has expanded their product line to offer the cutest personalized stationary kits for kids! $34.00 for a kit of 40 sheets, 30 envelopes, 30 return address labels, 30 personalized name stickers, and 30 sealers to add a special touch to the envelopes.
