More Costume Ideas

I ran into this adorable Tom Arma costume and thought it might be something rather simple to make if you have a white snowsuit for your baby.  I would also very much like to mention that I want to eat this baby’s face.  See more costume ideas here.

Planning Your Family’s Winter Vacation?

If your family includes three children, you know how frustrating it is to find a resort that will accommodate five people in one room.  Having two rooms is very costly and not a good option if you have young children.  Best Family Beach Vacations has compiled a list of resorts that will accept up to three children with two adults in one room.  Check their suggestions and of course, double check with your travel agent if you find a resort that interests you.  While the list was accurate when published, changes may have occurred.  If you have two kids, make sure to squeeze another vacation in before the third comes along!

Click and print the coupon for 20% off sale items @ the Yonge & Bayview location until November 1st.  If you need boots for your kids though, keep in mind that Cougars cost $59.99 at Olly’s and only $29.99 at Style Sense in Vaughan Mills.  Not that boots would be part of this sale…but just thought I’d mention.

Have I talked about the Shops At Donmills enough yet? This weekend (July 25th + 26th), the Town Square transforms into a play zone with a bouncing castle and obstacle course. The wonderful water fountain has turned into a great splash area for kids and it’s so much fun! Bring towels and a change of clothes. Last weekend, I breathed at Anthropologie while my husband watched The Boy splash around (on a chair in the shade, mind you). A win-win! Family fun takes place 12pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Shops At Donmills has great family bathrooms located right next to the water fountain and Guest Services will happily warm up a baby bottle for you or provide an emergency diapering kit for $2.

…and, come out on Saturday night for a movie on the lawn @ The Town Square. The Princess Bride is a great family movie to enjoy together. Bring blankets and lawn chairs. The movie begins at dusk. How fun!
