  2. Heartsy for Etsy

Worlds collided in a really good way yesterday when I heard that my all time favourite Etsy (a website for all things hand-made) and my recent infatuation with Grouponish sites came together into something called Heartsy.  Heartsy is a Groupon-like site for Etsy.  So, if you like Etsy, you might want to subscribe to Heartsy.  Gotsy?

P.s. above is this beautiful mom’s nest which makes for a personal and symbolic gift for Mother’s Day.  Great for your mom or mother-in-law if you order all of the grandkids’ names.

  4. Does your car smell?

Of course it does.  Unless you don’t allow your kids to eat in the car.  Nothing annoys me more than when my husband compares the state of his car to mine.  My car is a portable kitchen that caters to three small children, one of whom only has five teeth.  His is fresh and clean and has no car seats so I am not impressed.

I recently stuck my head into my friend’s car and it smelled so good.  She introduced me to Scentportable from Bath & Body Works.  It has a clip and can be placed anywhere.  What a find!  Thanks Michelle.  And for the next 3 days, you can use this $10 coupon at Bath & Body Works.

  6. One of A Kind Show Coupon

The show is coming up March 30th. – April 3rd.  You might think it’s a great idea to take a baby with you to the show.  You might picture yourself strolling indoors while baby sits, looks around happily, eats, and maybe even naps.  Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way.  Your baby is going to scream and you are not going to have any fun so try to go by yourself.

  15. Baby Pancakes

My kids are not great eaters.  When I think about a good breakfast, I think eggs, toast with cream cheese… not happening. My cousin gave me a winning recipe which is great for breakfast or snack before bed.  Little baby pancakes. Babies and kids just love them!

All you need is 1 egg + 1 tbsp. flour + 1 tbsp. soft cream cheese or yogurt.  Whisk ingredients together and use the batter to make little pancakes (one tbsp. of batter per pancake).  I sweeten the batter by using vanilla yogurt or honey.  So easy!
